I was born in 1967 in Oklahoma City, OK. I graduated from Putnam City High in 1985 and the University of Central Oklahoma in 1989. After teaching for several years I entered the software business, moved to Texas and now live near Austin, TX with my son Noah.

Favorite Band
I'm a huge RUSH fan. 3 of the most incredible musicians ever. The song I think best reflects their skills is a song called La Villa Strangiato and my favorite album is Moving Pictures.
Favorite Movie
Star Wars is my favorite movie, and I'm pleased that its become my son's favorite too. I'll never tire of watching the original and The Empire Strikes Back in particular.
Favorite Author
Tom Clancy is my favorite author though I'm not a fan of his collaborative efforts. Give me The Hunt for Red October, The Sum of All Fears over the Op-Center series anyday.
Favorite Food
Thai is my favorite food. I love the mix of sweet, sour and particularly spice though I'm also a big fan of Mexican food as well. Hot and spicy? Starting to see a trend here.

I've been employed with MLC CAD Systems, a family owned business specializing in CAD, CAM, CAE, PDM and PLM software located in Austin, TX for 10 years. Responsibilities include SolidWorks 3D CAD, SolidWorks Simulation, SolidWorks PDM and 3DVIA sales and consulting as well as being responsible for our company website, myMLCservices.com and other administrative and operational responsibilities. |

The Hill Ranch is another family business that I'm involved in where I share responsibilities with the rest of my family for the care, feeding, breeding and health of our registered longhorn cattle. Helping to manage a herd of 35 longhorn, our ranch is located in Dripping Springs, TX near Austin and is both an active, working ranch, and a nice peaceful retreat for friends and family. |

After 5 years of teaching English and Computer Technology in teaching, I left education to enter the technology field where I've specialized in computer hardware and computer software technologies for over 20 years. Often the "go-to-guy" I've held several positions over the years depending upon the challenges faced by each individual company, each time exceeding the goals and objectives for the position before taking on the next challenge.

Besides projects related to my current employment, I've also been responsible for the website design, and site management for several other companies and initiatives. Specializing in Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP and Perl and other web technologies such as Joomla and other content management systems, I've helped many companies and individuals create a web presence, or enhance their web presence by providing them with easy to use tools to create new content, provide interactive functionality to better retain and attract new customers, and provide post implementation support including continued consulting, backups, updates and other maintenance related tasks associated with these websites.
